The mystery of Seoul

I hadn't planned to write a post from Seoul, but I couldn't resist sharing with you, and then, the rainy season starts in Seoul, so writing in safe, dry place is the best thing to do.

What is mysterious in this city? Staying on weather, it's the enormous heat alternating with heavy pouring rain. You can't choose. Anoher mystery is where people actually live. Because all I can see around are SHOPS and loads of RESTAURANTS, but no living places. I guess that Seoul must have one of the biggest concentration of restaurants in the world. But I should make a separate gastro post, because the food is just mysteriously good! What will remain mystery for me until the end is the street net. I can't walk here without getting lost, seriously! Everything is just huge here, cars drive like crazy, people everywhere - I'd say that I am not adapted to this kind of  orientation. This is surely linked to another hidden treasure - korean language. I think I'm going to stay at "hello" and "thank you", without knowing how it's supposed to be written. It's so different!
And I couldn't omit the other perspective: I'm a big mystery for korean people. As there aren't many european tourists, I'm a kind of curious object walking down the streets. Being really shy, I have problems dealing with all the people looking at me. But at least they're all smiling and happy!

Neplanovala jsem postnout primo ze Seoulu, ale nemohla jsem odolat pokuseni se s vami podelit o prvnich par fotek a zazitku, a pak, zacina obdobi destu, coz primo pobizi ke psani za doprovodu bubnujicich kapek.

Co je tedy v tomto meste zahadneho? Abych se drzela nejfrekventovanejsiho konverzacniho tematu, totiz pocasi, uplne zahadne to tu skace ze zabijackych tropickych veder do lijaku, ktery se ve sve intenzite snazi stuj co stuj z cloveka udelat "miss mokre tricko" i pres destnik. Nevyberete si. Dalsi zahada je, kde vsichni ti lide bydli? Ulice jsou nepretrzitymi retezy obchodu a restauraci, ale obytne domy nikde. Seoul se beztak pysni jednou z nejvetsich koncentraci restauraci na svete. Urcite bych mela napsat specialni gastro post, protoze jidlo je tu zahadne skvele. Zahadou pro me take zustane i sit ulic. Nejsem schopna se tady neztratit! Vsechno je tu obrovske, auta jezdi nezavisle na svetlech jako silena, lidi vsude okolo - na takovy styl orientace asi nejsem stavena. To je neodmyslitelne spojeno s dalsi veci, ktera mi unika, a to s korejstinou. Jeji znaky pro me znamenaji dokonaly sifrovaci jazyk. Zrejme zustanu az do konce na pozdravu a podekovani, aniz bych vedela, jak se to pise. Tak rozdilne!
Nemohla bych opomenout ani opacnou perspektivu:  jsem zahadnym objektem pro mistni obyvatele. Protoze se to tu evropskymi turisty opravdu nehemzi, slouzim na ulici jako pochodujici kuriozita. Protoze jsem stydliva osoba, nekdy se se zvedavymi pohledy obtizne vyporadavam. Aspon se ale vsichni usmivaji a jsou veseli!
